Why is my organic shampoo making my hair smell bad?

I just switched from herbal essences to burt's bees with the guidance of my hair stylist. She said I needed a natural chemical-free shampoo because my hair is so damaged.

The product itself smells fine, like raspberries, but when I come out of the shower my hair has a greasy smell. It's making my hair very soft and smooth though.

Could it just be my hair getting used to the lack of chemicals, or something else? Why is my organic shampoo making my hair smell bad?
Maybe your using too much conditioner at one time. Try and use less, for all conditioners you should start at he ends of your hair, the ends of your hair need more conditioning then the top (and the top is where it gets greasy). Maybe this product takes longer to rinse out. Are you using enough shampoo though? maybe you need more shampoo with this product. Are you really washing rubbing it into your scalp washing good by your ears all that?

If these tips don't work out then that means that the brand just isn't for you try something new. If you have dryness problems you should get a deep conditioner that's what I use since my hair is so dry because of highlights. I actually bought a deep conditioner that made my hair feel more tangled (that brand just didn't work good for me) so I got a different brand and it worked great. Why is my organic shampoo making my hair smell bad?
Maybe your hair needs to adapt. Or ask your hair stylelist
do you use hot water? try using warm water
