Does anyone know where I can buy any organic shampoos?

Has anyone used the ';Burt's Bees'; shampoos? Are they good?

Thank you

%26lt;3Does anyone know where I can buy any organic shampoos?
The best organic shampoo is olive oil creamy aloe shampoo. You can find this in almost every CVS. I have tried Burt's Bees but I prefer their other products.Does anyone know where I can buy any organic shampoos?
AVON has an awesome line of natural hair products. I use them everyday. They work wonders on my hair. I would highly recommend them. I've included a link to the products I use. The brand is actually called Naturals.
My personal favorite is Avalon Organics. Their website is listed below. You can buy directly from their site. Their products can also be found at Whole Foods. Hope this helps!

Which organic, natural dog pet shampoos have you used on your pup and did they work?

Looking for specific brand names to try, preferably less than $15. Tell me about them: smell good? irritate the skin or eyes?Which organic, natural dog pet shampoos have you used on your pup and did they work?
I use Sergeant's Skip-Flea and Tick Shampoo with Oatmeal. It costs $4-5 and it's great.

My two dogs ( a 4 yr. old Cavalier Kind Charles Spaniel and a 10 month old Chihuahua puppy ) are always smelling clean after bath. It doesn't irritate any of their skin, but I don't recommend clean very close to the eyes with any shampoo.

How do I market my totally organic dog shampoos etc.?

I have 5 lines of totally organic dog shampoos and spritzers. They are: Gee your fur smells terrific(deodorizing) Chillax(calming)No More Flaky Flakes(dry skin) Old Dog Does New Tricks(arthritis and joint pain relief).Shoo Bugs Don't Bother Me(Flea and insect control) these are made with high quality essential oils and organic ingredients.I have sold some But not near enough. How do I advertise this? I have tried this at the in-home expo at the mall, I have business cards out and an ad in the local paper that reaches several small towns. Keep in mind I live in a small town In Iowa and I want to go all over the U.S. I have a google ad and I've only had 9 hits in the last few weeks. Help Me Please!!! Also I make these all by hand and do this out of my home. How do I market my totally organic dog shampoos etc.?
I have a couple suggestions if your not already selling on Ebay or other auction sites maybe you should. Epier is a free auction. There are more out there that are free or much cheaper. :)

Another idea is maybe contact somewhere like Doba that work with suppliers to provide drop ship products to stores around the world.

Contact a few privately owned pet stores and try to get your product on their shelves. Also, never hurts to contact Wal-mart and toss your product at them. If they go for it you would become very busy very fast.

Why is organic so much more expensive than regular shampoo?

Because the ingredients are more expensive than the artificial ones. Why is organic so much more expensive than regular shampoo?
You're pretty much paying for the label. Organic doesn't necessarily mean it's ';organic'; It means the people who make it decided to put the word on the label in order to sell it for more. There are no regulations for cosmetics. They can put anything they want on the label. Why is organic so much more expensive than regular shampoo?
because its organic.

Do organic shampoos work as good as salon shampoos?

i think that it really depends on your hair type they work for me but my hair is very normal i dont really need any thing special so they work for meDo organic shampoos work as good as salon shampoos?
There is a really good organic salon shampoo that I love, it's called Phyto Organics by Nexxus. They are alcohol free and organic. Try them, I love em! http://www.nexxus.com/hair_care_brands/p鈥?/a>Do organic shampoos work as good as salon shampoos?
Not really. You can find organic ';salon'; shampoos.

';Salon'; quality uses the highest grade raw ingerdients to make the shampoo. They can use organic stuff, too. ';Organic'; shampoos vary in their quality... One brand (Nature's Gate) was using the same sudsing agent in their shampoo as Mr. Clean uses in their floor cleaners.

    Organic or green shampoo?

I have used a few different natural shampoo's, but most seem to have some ';bad'; stuff in them. I used to use nature's clean herbal shampoo but it seems there is still a few harmfuk ingredients in them. I am using burts bees right now but there is still some not so good stuff in there as well and my husband doesnt like the smell of burts bees. I was wondering if anyone knows of a really pure and natural shampoo that isnt an arm and a leg to buy but has as many natural ingredients in it that I could buy in Canada? preferably not online.

    Thanks!Organic or green shampoo?
not sure about Canada, but there is a line called Alba that is strictly a ';green'; line.

Are organic products such a shampoo, toothpaste, face wash, deodorant. etc. better for you?

yes , but even better if it organic and natural! Are organic products such a shampoo, toothpaste, face wash, deodorant. etc. better for you?
Yeah organic usually means derived from natural sources. Organic products are usually free of chemicals (though some companies do put chemicals in their products and label it organic for more people to buy it) which makes them more hypoallergenic/god for you. your body won't absorb as many toxins etc.

There are a lot of things you can do to be more eco friendly and green. I try to gather all of the tips I can to help the environment, and put them into action. Sometimes just the smallest change can make a difference. You will also come to find that being green can be more cost effective.

I really like Arbonne products overall.

For deodorant, I use Desert Essence. If you have a Vitamin Shoppe near you, I believe you may be able to find it there. It works just as well as a regular deodorant/antiperspirant, but without the aluminum products.
    Aveda
I use Jason brand sunblock for my kids. It's pretty inexpensive - that's a relative term - inexpensive for organic products, around $10 a tube - and it had a great smell so I got to put it on my son without a fight. Henry's carries it.

I love Desert Essence products too - I used the tea tree oil to clear up acne and scratches I use tea tree oil shampoo - smells unbelievable, very clean feeling and refreshing.

    Good, organic hair shampoo/conditioners?

So right every night I wash my hair with jason tea tree shampoo, in cold water and use naked naturals conditioner i believe, and rinse also in cold water. But my hair is getting split ends and breakage and i'm loosing a lot of hair too.

Are there any good organic shampoos that help with breakage and split ends, and also helps to thicken your hair, or keep it from getting really thin?

I've been using Nioxin for about 5 months now.. and I think it's done what it's suppose to do.. which was stop me from shedding so much..

After all that my hair has gone pretty dry.. and I wanna switch shampoo %26amp; conditioners.

I recently bought Giovanni Smooth as Silk line from target because of all the good reviews and being organic/natural.. Would going natural still help my hair become healthier and keep my head from shedding?I have thin/thinning hair.. going organic hair shampoo/conditioner?
I use Giovanni myself, but sadly there is nothing in the ingredients that would stop you from shedding. Are you by chance vegan, since Giovanni is a vegan line? If so, try reconsidering your diet. To my knowledge there is no organic hair care that TRULY stops thinning.I have thin/thinning hair.. going organic hair shampoo/conditioner?
If you're using any heat tools(straightener, curler, blow dryer) STOP using them ASAP!! They weaken your hair.

Instead of using Giovanni, try Bed Head's Moisture Maniac. Sounds like your hair is very dry and it needs a good rinsing with this shampoo and conditioner. Moisture = Healthy hair

Also, go to a salon and see if they recommend anything.

    Good Luck!

Dr. Bronners peppermint soap stimulates blood flow and its all natural, organic and environmentally safe. It doesn't strip the hair so you don't have to worry about dryness, but it does have to be diluted because it is concentrated. Do a web search on Dr. Bronner's products, you could also use Burt's Bees.
You need to use hair products that stimulate the blood flow to your scalp.

When my hair gets that way, I use Dr. Miracle's products. They can be found in Sally Beauty Supply. They're made for ethnic hair, but work on any. It has a thermalceutical complex that stimulates blood flow to your hair follicles.

There's a brand called J|A|S|O|N that has a ';scalp balancing'; (or something to that effect) shampoo with jojoba that I just start using. I love it. It works and it makes my hair really soft. Great product by Lush products( www.lush.com) is a conditioner called RECON. It is a conditioner shock full of enzymic papaya and emollient oils that you apply to the scalp, then massage, then let sit for 15 minutes. The effects are tingly, invigorating and calming. Afterwards, you must shampoo twice. A good lush shampoo is REHAB, an olive and jojoba oil shampoo. Your scalp will be happy and dandruff free.
Well, go to any Whole Foods, man . But you'd probably be shelling out at least 10 bucks. Is your dandruff that bad dude?
Thursday Plantation does a tea tree shampoo for dandruff.

I don't think they are certified organic, but they say they test the oil to make sure it's pesticide free. I'm not sure how well the shampoo works for severe dandruff though.

Yep. Most vets recommend bathing no more than once every six weeks or so. See your vet for medicated shampoo.Does bathing a dog with an organic itch relief shampoo twice a month cause more itching and flaking in the lon
Washing a dog too often is not a good thing. Some people say twice a year should be good enough. If your dog is not dirty dont wash it. If you keep washing the dog they loose their natural oils and then they would get dry skin.Does bathing a dog with an organic itch relief shampoo twice a month cause more itching and flaking in the lon
It can especially if you do not rinse it completely or if the animal has especially sensitive skin.
my dog had a similar problem. he had really dry skin and we tried bathing him with an otmeal shampoo and it turned out that we were bathing him too often. we didnt give him a bath for about three months and we gave him a fish oil type solution for his skin on his food and now hes great!

What are some great organic shampoos?

I've just begun thinking about chemicals in my shampoos. Presently our house uses Pert and Pantene. What shampoo would you recommend for a great hair cleaning (with no leftover residue, cleans the grease/for oily hair)?

Where do you buy it and how much about do they go for?

ThanksWhat are some great organic shampoos?
Aubry organics, are really nice, and they have NO ALS ammonium laurel sulfate, which is like poison, and in almost all types of shampoo (yikes) but Aubrey doesnt have it, even some organic shampoos have it too, so be carefull.

I can get Aubrey either on there website and delivered to my house, or even at my local grocery store in the organic food section, they have a little section with organic soaps and such, It runs about 10.00 dollars a bottle for each, but you only need a little, since there is not ALS in it, its not suppose to sud up, so only like a quarter size amount in the palm works really good :)What are some great organic shampoos?
I use Max Green Alchemy scalp rescue products. They're absolutely wonderful, I've been using them for over 2 years. I also have slightly greasy/oily hair and it cleans beautifully and there is never any residue. You can buy these products on their website (maxgreenalchemy.com) and it's about $14.00 for each bottle of 8.8 ounces.

Something that really makes your hair very clean and soft and very healthy is, believe it or not, horse shampoo. You can find it in any regular shampoo section. It is made to throughly clean your hair, right to the skin. It is also NOT FOR EVERYDAY USE! It is to be used once a week.

I also use something called Head %26amp; Shoulders, which is really good for waxy, greasy hair, which is to be used on the days you are not using the horse shampoo!

Here is where you can see what the shampoo looks like. It is called Mane N' Tail.

Hope I could help :)Do you know any organic shampoos? Or at least good ones?
Drugstore shampoos and conditioners are cheap for a reason. They are full of harsh chemicals that strip color and natural oils from your hair and cause damage. They are also full of wax the coats the outside of the hair shaft. But out of these Pantene is the absolute worst and Suave is next. They use the most harsh chemicals and the most wax.

If you must use a drugstore brand use Aussie. They use natural ingredients instead of all the chemicals and wax. The problem with organic stuff is that it never actually works. Shampoo molecules go into the hair shaft, attach themselves to molecules of dirt and oil, and wash out. So you do need some chemicals, otherwise you are just wasting your time. You have to have chemicals to clean your hair, food products are not going to do it for you. Aussie is the most natural brand and works wonderfully.

I try to use organic/natural products also, but my hair is way different then yours. • I need some tips with organic shampoo?

I have been using organic shampoo for about a year now. Many times I have the problem with it making my hair very oily. If I use regular shampoo my hair it will not get that way. However, I do not want to use it because all the chemicals make my scalp so dry and irritated. I need some tips of maybe a brand, a way to make my own( please no coconut oil base), or anything that will allow me to use organic shampoo without it getting oily. It would be great if it did not have coconut oil... I have a huge problem getting it out of my hair.I need some tips with organic shampoo?
I like Nature's Gate Calming Shampoo with Tea Tree. It cleans the scalp very well. It is a little bit drying to my hair and I have to follow it with a natural conditioner, so I think it might help with oily hair. Rosemary, Chamomile and Nettles are 3 ingredients to look for in a natural shampoo, to calm irritated scalp.

There are lots of good natural hair products out there. You just need to choose one that's right for you. I've had good experience with Tom's of Maine, Heritage Products and Mill Creek.

Edit: I just remembered that I used to rinse my hair w/ apple cider vinegar or lemon juice diluted w/ 3 parts water. Great to get soap out but dries my hair. That might help get the oil out of yours.I need some tips with organic shampoo?
you should try mane and tail shampoo and conditioner. you can find them at any store like walmart, meijer, and walgreens probably has it too. they used it for horses a long time ago and noticed that it made the horses' hair very shiny, healthy, and rich so they made it into shampoo and conditioner for humans. I use it for my hair because i have the same problem. it works very well for me.

Looking for a good organic shampoo and conditoner?

I have really really frizzy, dry, wavy thinning (though starting to get thick again) hair. I have been using Giovanni tee tree shampoo and conditioner. I haven't been unhappy or anything, but I think its good to try something new just to see if anything is better. I would like it to be organic because I am a strong believer in that. I am also wondering whether I should be using a leave in conditioner separate from my regular conditioner. (Thats supposed to help right?)

I also need it to be affordable!!! Nothing too expensive please...Thanks so much guys!

As always, I really do appreciate your advice...Looking for a good organic shampoo and conditoner?
Hi there is only one comercial company in the world that supplys organic shampoo and conditioner to food grade organic certification. Most only contain a percentage of organic ingredients in them and some contain propol alcohols in differing forms which are carcinogenic often used as a preservative.

I found the myessence brand to be great for my problem hair. It is a little running so you have to be careful not to use too much but my hair feels and looks great definately worth a try. You said it needs to be affordable ,it is more expensive than suppermaket stuff , but its well worth paying a little extra for, as like anything you get what you pay for. You can get it cheaper buying it online directly from the company go to the web site below they will give all the info you need.

I hope this has been a help.Looking for a good organic shampoo and conditoner?
you should check out Lush. They have shampoos and conditioners and they're not too expensive and I've found it last awhile, at least for me. And no animal testing which is a plus.

Should I use an organic shampoo like Aubrey's Organics on my relaxed hair?

Many black women with long hair say that they don't use shampoos that contains sodium laureth sulfate, but only use organic shampoos. I tried Aubrey's organics for dry hair and my hair felt stiff and dry. Then I did a deep conditioning treatment with Profectiv and my hair regained its moisture.

Luster's Pink conditioning shampoo and relaxer have always worked for me, but I wanted to try an organic shampoo that would give me the same results. I don't know if my scalp is adjusting to the new shampoo, but now it feels a bit stiff or tight.

I just want to know if organic shampoos are truly the best way to go for someone who has dry relaxed hair.Should I use an organic shampoo like Aubrey's Organics on my relaxed hair?
For some reason, hair care for Black women ends up being unnecessarily complicated. Our hair is not difficult to manage, as some might believe. You can use what works best for your hair, and keeps it healthy. Anything that makes your hair feel stiff and dry, is not the right product for your hair.

I've had a relaxer for about 20 years with no problems at all. My hair is very thick, long, and healthy.

I use a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, and I always use a leave-in conditioner. If I use heat on my hair, I always use a heat protectant or a serum. I've always used a variety of products on my hair. Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Nexxus, and even Tresemme, just to name a few, works great on my hair. I also do a deep conditioning a couple of times a month.

Another thing is keeping your hair clean. I like to wash my hair a couple of times a week, mainly to remove the old products and I like my hair fresh, but washing it once a week is fine. For a quick wash during the week I use Creme of Nature shampoo. Now, there is this thing where people wash their hair with conditioner; it's called co-wash. I tried it once, and my hair was not clean. I don't know where this idea came from, but I'm not a fan of this. It seems kind of ridiculous to have to restyle your hair all over again, without the hair being clean.

There are really no true ';organic'; products on the market. There has to be some sort of chemical used for a preservative. Don't get caught up in all of this nonsense. Just use what works best for your hair, and you will be happy.Should I use an organic shampoo like Aubrey's Organics on my relaxed hair?
Also, recognize that every head of hair is different and what has worked well for someone else may not work for you. Pay attention to what you put in your hair and how it makes your hair and scalp look and feel. Once you know that, stick with what works for you! Report Abuse

You might want to try a different brand also. I'm sure it doesn't but read the ingredients list to make sure it doesn't contain SLS. One woman said she bought an organic shampoo that contained it and it made her hair dry and hard. I use bioInfusion organics shampoo and conditioner and it works very well on my hair, but my hair is natural. I never used organic stuff on my permed hair, but I know more about good hair care as a natural than I did when I was relaxing.

If your hair is dry then you might want to shampoo like once a month and condition wash (co-wash) your hair the rest of the time. If you use a moisturizing conditioner then you will retain a lot of the moisture compared to shampooing. You research more about co-washing to find out how it helps your hair because it's too much info to post here.

I have medium lenth medium curls and I am never satisfied. i like my aubrey's organics tropical something can't remember the name for dry frizzy hair but the giovanni leave in conditioner just isn't doing it for my hair. %26gt;.%26lt; I have only used half the bottle. i feel like dumping it down the drain so that i have a reason to buy more. does organic hair gel work better than non organic? I use a brand called J/A/S/O/N. It's geared towards animal lovers -- It's not tested on animals, and it's totally natural and organic and smells so ridiculously good.

And they make tons of varieties. I think they may even market it at Wal-Mart, so it's easily accesible to everyone. : ]What is your favorite organic shampoo, conditioner and style product for curly hair?

  • I got this organic shampoo, is it reputable?

It's Desert Essence Organics Hair Care- Lemon Tea Tree Shampoo for Oily Hair. If you want me to post the ingredients I can, but it says it doesn't have any parabens, sodium lauryl/laureth sulfates, phthalates, artificial fragrances or color, silicones, EDTA, glycol or petroleum based ingredients. It looks like honey lol. It was also certified by QAI and QCS. I don't really know what this means but I'm worried about buying an organic shampoo that legally only has one organic ingredient.I got this organic shampoo, is it reputable?
Sodium lauryl sulfate is what makes shampoo lather. Sounds like your product just uses the label organic to sell the product.I got this organic shampoo, is it reputable?

    Using organic shampoo and conditioner?

    Hi,

I have been trying to grow my hair to a little past my shoulders for a few months now. I have been using Herbal Essences Drama Clean shampoo and conditioner for a few weeks now until my friend's mother told me that it was best to use organic shampoos because they are better to help your hair grow.

Are organic shampoos and conditioners better for your hair? I know that nothing makes hair grow faster, but I want to grow out healthy hair.

    Thanks!Using organic shampoo and conditioner?
    DONT

i started using desert essences organic shampoo/conditioner and they SUCK.

they are only good for cleaning hair or for hair thats already healthy,. i have very dry hair and they just made it MMMUUUCCCH worseUsing organic shampoo and conditioner?
i use this brand called organics. it is amazing. they are 100% natural and have a few organic plants. other shampoos and conditioners coat your hair with parabins(waxes) which create build up. organic is ABSOLUTLY better for your health, internal and external. most non-natural ones also contain sodium lauryl sulfites which is an anti-grease lather that is so harsh, it's used in dishsoap. stick with natural
bioinfusion is good. sold at wallgreens

    Organic shampoo and conditioner?

i have a subscription to seventeen magazine, and in one of the issues that i've read, it showed this organic shampoo and conditioner called ';It's All Good'; and i was wondering, have any of you guys herd or seen this type of shampoo+conditioner, and if so PLEASE tell me where i can get some. Thanks.Organic shampoo and conditioner?
I dont know about that brand but I use http://www.aubrey-organics.com/ I have an entire set from them. Little pricy but they last a long time and are 100 % organic.Organic shampoo and conditioner?
    I also subscribe to Seventeen!

Well, I haven't actually looked for this type of Shampoo/Conditioner, but try Whole Foods Market! It's an organic store (not to mention HUGE) and has a lot of varieties! I know I've found tons of hair products that I like there!

    Also, search the internet!
I don't know if you have the grocrey store Jimbos or Henrys where you live but they have tons!!! Also, there is a great one that I used to use is called ALFA it smells clean and works great on my hair type which is normal.

I use California Baby products and they are great. I use this website to choose the safest products for my baby: http://www.cosmeticsdatabase.com/special鈥?/a>

Also, you should read this article if you are interested in the dangers of a lot of non-natural baby shampoo and soap: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22979800/

';Baby shampoos, lotions and powders may expose infants to chemicals that have been linked with possible reproductive problems, a small study suggests.

The chemicals, called phthalates, are found in many ordinary products including cosmetics, toys, vinyl flooring and medical supplies. They are used to stabilize fragrances and make plastics flexible.

In the study, they were found in elevated levels in the urine of babies who鈥檇 been recently shampooed, powdered or lotioned with baby products.

...';Have any one used Natural and Organic Baby shampoo and body wash lotions. If so any comments.?
I am a big fan of Burt's bee baby shampoo and lotions. I have been using their products for years on both myself and my kids. They have a great line of exclusively baby products. They are free of chemicals and smell really great too!

Here are what some other parents say about Burt's Bee's as well: http://www.viewpoints.com/Burts-Bees-Bab鈥?/a>
not many, unless baby is sick or something then we may take her a bath... i don't think i've ever used shampoo on baby and she's 9 months old... we do clean her with a cloth though if she's gotten something sticky on her by accident... or if i drop my food on her while she's in the mei tai..

just think of all those good oils and that new baby smell that you're just washing down the drain, our baby still smells new and i just love that. (unless baby gets that stinky formula, which ours fortunately never has had.)

babecology has some nice Organic abby products that I actually just use for myself, it's totally natural. The mango balm is great. The lavendar oil is really nice too.
Though my baby was grown up when I learned of them, a friend of mine was using California Baby on her adorable daughter and I was quite impressed - even tried it myself (shh don't tell).

I really like the products and the thought that has gone into them. I have since given a small gift combo at every baby shower; this has resulted in phone calls later with rave reviews and questions about where they can get more.

I go to school with some people that are hard to please in this department - the majority are studying natural medicine, and almost everyone is hyper-aware of the significance of toxins and organics, so the fact that my friend, and fellow student, had chosen this for her child was quite significant to me.

Both these can be bought fairly cheaply (ie. less than 拢4 a bottle) in highstreet shops such as Boots or John Lewis.

Well, considering that your hair is ';dead'; by any definition,

why would you think that organic is important.

    Natural & organic shampoo + conditioner ?

What's a good natural and organic hair care brand? Preferably a drugstore brand? Just name me all of them that you tried.

the more answers the better.Natural %26amp; organic shampoo + conditioner ?
My all time favorite is Giovanni! These run about $6 for each the shampoo and conditioner. I've worked in an organic food department for about 6 years and have tried quite a few brands over time...

Burt's Bees, Bumble %26amp; Bumble (this is the runner up -- the Gentle shampoo and SuperRich conditioner are fab!), Shikai (if you have color treated hair, there are specific ones for every color that work amazingly!), Jason's, Alba, Kiss My Face...

I've never found one that I specifically did not like! But definitely Giovanni, Bumble %26amp; Bumble (there are also others besides the Gentle/SuperRich that might better suit your hair color and texture) and Shikai Color for color-treated hair.

My daughter's hair is very dry. Will her hair be smoother if she uses Organic Shampoo? If yes, which shampoo?

Please answer ASAP!! She needs to go to the prom next month!!My daughter's hair is very dry. Will her hair be smoother if she uses Organic Shampoo? If yes, which shampoo?
I don't think organic will make a difference.... Get any super-moisturizing shampoo and conditioner, but read the ingredients to make sure it does not have alcohol, which is very drying and damaging (personally, I like fructis garnier in the green bottles).

Also look into a leave-in conditioner like Infusium 23, and/or hot oil or deep conditioning treatments that are meant to be used once or twice a week. Make sure to follow the directions carefully, as using any type of hair product incorrectly can damage the hair.

If your daughter blow-dries her hair or straightens it, this can also damage and dry out the hair. Some products are specifically designed to help with that.

If your daughter has naturally curly hair (which is often drier than straight hair) check out the book ';Curly Girl';. It has great tips for how to deal with curly hair, and a bunch of recipes for serums and conditioning treatments that you can make up at home. They really work. The Curly Girl system might seem weird at first, but trust me, it works wonders for your hair.

Ok, I just found a great website for you: http://www.ylcf.org/gotcurl/index.htm

It is based on the curly girl book, but it also has a section for straight heired people. Good luck!My daughter's hair is very dry. Will her hair be smoother if she uses Organic Shampoo? If yes, which shampoo?
Try Bed Head Moisture Maniac Shampoo. I live on the coast and am in sea water a lot. This is a rich shampoo that will add life to her hair.
what has she been using to make it dry ?
Have her try some leave-in conditioners. There are a lot of brands to choose from. Heres an at-home tip: Mix together yogurt and 2 eggs. You apply this to your hair and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Well i suggest moisturizers.alot of them........Tell her not to wash her hair everyday.........most people think its healthy well its not it kills the hair..........especially shampoo.......bout 2 or 3 times a week........and days when she isnt doing anything let her go natural keep leave-in conditioners in her hair..............

i hope the best for her and her hair

    good luck!
I have NO CLUE about organic Shampoo's BUT i do know that I have had the same problem awhile back then I tried Pantene Pro-V... it TRULEY cleans well, puts vibe in my hair, conditions it so its not dry at ALL and also makes it shiney. I would say give it a try and for sure use conditioner and not just shampoo other wise it will continue to stay dry. good luck to her! :)
try shampoos that are specialized in providing moiture like pantene pro-v daily moisture renewal, or sunsilk, or herbal essences.
buy a hot oil treatment and use it once a week. and use a leave in conditioner. the hot oil treatment may need to be found at a beauty supply store or you may need to buy it from your favorite salon. Try putting in a biosilk before the prom to make her hair smooth and silky.

Natural Homemade Beauty tips to Haircare

    http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gnA4Lmo_b鈥?/a>
I have this problem and getting married in 4 weeks, everyone on yahoo answers has been telling me to use (warm) 2 tbls. olive oil and 1 tsp. honey in dry hair and then rap up with warm towel for 1 hour, I'm gonna try it to night. I heard it really works!! Good Luck, it's probably not as bad as mine=)
Well I would use a hydrating or moisturizing shampoo like Dove Moisure Shampoo and Conditioner.

Also tell her to condition her every day, but only use shampoo every other day, because shampoo can dry your hair out. Dove is pretty cheap, but effective. But some really good mouisturizing shampoos are made by top beauty salon companies like: Redken, Matrix, Biolage.
I,m not to sure if organic shampoo will do the trick, but she should use conditioner every time she washes her hair. Have you tried deep conditioning treatments? Use warm water when rinsing the shampoo out, and cold water when rinsing the conditioner out. She should not blow dry or use any styling products. If her hair is fairly long she should not wash her hair every day. It will dry out easily. Maybe you should try a leave-in conditioner. I have very long hair and I use Infusium 23 shanpoo and conditioner. It works for me very well. Look for the kind for dry and dammaged hair, they also have deep conditioners and leavein treatments. Good luck!

a few months ago I started washing my hair with a baking soda and water mixture, then conditioning it with apple cider vinegar water.

i put 1 tablespoon baking soda in a 32 oz. bottle and fill the bottle up with water. I pour some on my scalp only and scrub my scalp. After i rinse i condition the ends with 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar in 32 oz. water.

There might be a transition of a week or two where you hair is a little greasy because shampoo strips so much natural oil from your hair that your scalp produces more oil than it should, but just pull your hair up.

My hair is so much healthier and more managable than before. I can run my fingers through my hair with no tangles, unlike before.

Also, I don't get dandruff like i used to. There have been several times where i have forgotten to make it, so i use shampoo and conditioner and the next day i have flakes and my hair has a lot of tangles.
Have you ever heard othe store Whole Foods?? look there...that is where i get my shampoo and conditioner and they have REALLY good quality, and it is completly organic. Hope i helped!!

hi guys i have organic shampoo from whole foods but it just sucks does anybody know any good organic shampoo and organic deordant, also i have a minor dandruff problem soo are there any good organic shampoo that makes your hair smell good and keep it dandruff freeOrganic shampoo and organic deordant?
    1. Aubrey Organics, J/A/S/O/N, Carol's Daughter, Anita Grant, Quemet Biologics, Alba, Giovanni Direct, Nature's Gate and Burt's Bees are some good organic hair lines.

    2. I highly recommend Apple Cider Vinegar, it is a natural clarifying shampoo that cleanses hair and scalp. You don't want to use it all the time, maybe once a month. It also cured my dandruff really quick. The only problem? Apple Cider Vinegar stinks...really bad. You would have to use a nice smelling conditioner on top of it.Organic shampoo and organic deordant?

You can buy a product at a pharmacy called ';Scalpacyn'; or something like that . . . it works pretty good! But it is for short-term use only. If you continue to have the problem, you should probably see a dermatologist.Does anyone have a remedy for dry, itchy (extremely) scalp? I use an organic shampoo now and conditioner...Th
Try finding some Burt's Bees hair conditioner treatment. It's also all natural and organic.
Try Head and Shoulders....I know it's not organic, but it works.
It could be scalp psoriasis. See a dermatologist who will make a diagnosis and prescribe the right treatment. Trying different brands of shampoo will probably irritate the scalp even more.
use some mayonaise! that should help. no joke, try it!
You may have a fungal infection and need medicated shampoo.
If you're seeing flakes, you probably need to pursue medicated shampoo. If it's just the dry scalp, you *might* be reacting to the shampoo you use now. You might also be washing your hair too frequently for your skin type. People are supposed to have a certain amount of natural oil to condition their skin, including their scalp. If you prefer natural treatment, you might consider treating your scalp and hair with almond oil (which softens all over.) One last possible recommendation is to consult Lush.com (who do a bunch of vegan stuff) and have products designed to be natural remedies. I love their stuff.
My daughter just went through the same thing. We tried Loreal Natures Therapy Scalp Relief and it worked very well. Plus, with all the massaging you have to do it's great for your circulation. We have only used it twice and that was two weeks ago and she hasn't needed it since. I thought we would have to put it on every time but that thankfully wasn't the case.
